I was really excited to read Hullingers testimonial as we too have a 12 month old boy who is developmentally delayed as as yet is only able to roll. He has been diagnosed as being hypermobile and has hypotonia so he is super flexible and very low muscle tone. We have started physio and he is getting stronger but it is hard to get him to do tummy time exercise and put weight on his arms outstretched so this playmat looks ideal. Thank you!

I'll admit I was skeptical on the usefullness of this toy however my 4 month old and 2 year old love to interact when the 4 month old is doing tummy time on this toy. The toy sets her higher off the ground so she can see her older sister's face and giggles always ensue. It has made tummy time much more enjoyable. My baby also loves the toys on the play mat - I often throw it into my diaper bag as a toy mat for her when we are out and about!

My reason for purchasing the Garden Gym is a little unique. I have an 11 month old son with special needs. He is especially behind with motor skills. I am constantly looking for ways to help him exercise different areas of his body, especially his neck. This has been our miracle solution to tummy time because previously he would simply roll over anytime we put him on his tummy. I would highly reccommed this product to anyone looking for a tummy time solution.
